About Banner Housing Association
Banner Housing Association is a voluntary social housing provider. We have houses and apartments in County Clare, which we rent out to people with an intellectual disability.
We were initially founded by the Brothers of Charity Services, Clare in 2002 as a means of providing service users with a choice of living independently within their own community.

Since 2002 we have become an independent charity in our own right and work closely with Clare County Council and the Department of the Environment to access funding for social housing. Banner Housing Association is also a registered member of the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH).

In 2007 Banner Housing Association launched a strategic Plan, which clearly outlines actions to be undertaken by the company over the next five years.
